Senior Fullstack Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Fullstack Engineer to drive the development of our cloud-native platform. Our goal is to provide scalable e-learning and cyber security solutions for small and medium-sized businesses, reducing risks through modern, event-driven technologies. This role requires a true Swiss Army knife—someone who can oversee the entire stack, jump into different layers of the architecture, and provide hands-on expertise where needed.

What you will be working on:

Feature & Service Development: Design and implement new product features, services, and business logic to enhance our platform’s functionality and user experience.
End-to-End Ownership: Develop and optimize APIs, microservices, and application workflows that support seamless user interactions and system integrations.
Frontend & Backend Collaboration: Build intuitive and performant user interfaces while ensuring backend services are scalable, efficient, and maintainable.
Business Logic Implementation: Translate business requirements into effective software solutions, working closely with product managers and designers.
Data-Driven Functionality: Develop features that leverage data insights, personalization, and automation using AWS services like Glue, QuickSight, and Athena.
Data & Insights Management: Oversee the collection, storage, and utilization of data to generate valuable insights for our partners, ensuring efficient data pipelines and analytics.
Security & Performance Optimization: Ensure best practices in security, authentication (Cognito, IAM), and performance tuning to deliver high-quality solutions.
Continuous Improvement & Innovation: Proactively identify areas for improvement in architecture, code quality, and development workflows.
Technical Leadership & Collaboration: Guide the team across frontend and backend decisions, mentor (junior) engineers on the tech stack, and support product managers in shaping product roadmaps.

Desired Experiences & Skills

Fullstack Development Expertise: Strong experience with modern frontend frameworks (React, etc.) and backend technologies (Python, Node.js or Java).
Cloud-Native & Serverless Knowledge: Hands-on experience with AWS services, serverless patterns, and event-driven architecture.
Infrastructure as Code Mastery: Proficiency in Terraform, AWS CDK, or CloudFormation.
Data & API Design: Knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases, GraphQL, RESTful APIs, and AWS analytics tools.
Security & Compliance Awareness: Familiarity with IAM, OAuth, JWT, and cloud security best practices.
Problem-Solving & Hands-on Mentality: Ability to troubleshoot issues across the stack and work in a fast-paced environment.
Strong Communication & Teamwork: Comfortable working across disciplines and guiding developers and product managers on best practices.
